A Wednesday Review

Indian Cinema takes a big leap with this movie called " A Wednesday" , Neeraj Pandey the director of the movie is definitely a genius, master of film making. Veterans read Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah have proved that why they are standing like a wall in the industry despite not being so called star ( they are supernova of industry though). A Wednesday is undoubtebly a must watch for every Indian, yes every Indian. I have a very small dictionary to give any adjective to this movie. Saying best will simply states that this is what I want. No I want much more than this... I want "The Patriot", I want " Life is Beautiful" from Indian Movie Maker. But walking out of theater after seeing " A Wednesday" , I was walking two inches taller, Pumped Up, Happy, Proud Indian. Okay, back to review.... .. based in Mumbai, a small budget movie, a police headquater, a roof top of under construction building, a police commissioner, his team of two three police men, an unknown Indian(Naseer) , a press reporter, two hours, no songs, small interval, edge of the seat thrill and a classic of all the movie based on terrorism. Suggestion- Blink with care while watching the movie, you might miss something... don't blink if possible. The plot is fantastic, direction is outstanding, editing is superb. Sound quality is not marvellous but yes... who cares about chorus when you enjoy lead singer... do you??
I lost the count of 4 Star movie I have seen this year.... there was "Taare Zameen Par", "Chak De India", "Rock On", "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na", "Mumbai Meri Jaan" etc... and three months are yet to go. Indian Cinema has arrived. I am loving it. Go and watch A wednesday, it is worth your money. Please.....!!
